  • Mental Health Awareness Week- w/b 13th May

    Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 will take place from 13Image result for mental health awareness weekth-19th May, on the theme of ‘Movement’ - Moving for our mental health. 

    Being active is so important for our mental health, and to recognise this the children will be taking part in a range of activities across the week that get them moving.  

    We are also turning our school green for a day to support and match the colours of Mental Health Awareness, see our school newsletter for more details.

  • Children's Mental Health Week- w/b 5th February

    From 5-11 February 2024 it is Childrens Mental Health Week. This year's theme is ‘My Voice Matters’. The focus is to empower, equip and give a voice to every child in the UK. We are planning a range of activities in school that allow the children to share their thoughts and ideas, give time to express themselves, and celebrate what makes them unique.

    Year 4 will be receiving a visit from the Mental Health Support Team who will be delivering a presentation on anxieties around friendships and social interactions.

    The end of the first half-term of the year has arrived and what a half-term it has been! The children have settled excellently into their new classes and have worked incredibly hard this half-term; we are all so proud of them.   • World Mental Health Day- 10th October

    It is World Mental Health Day on October 10th, 2023.

    This year the theme is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’.

    To recognise this in school, we will be asking the children to take a few minutes to check in on how they are feeling. This embeds the importance of taking time to notice their emotional well-being and how that can impact on their day.
