Safeguarding Responsibilities and Policy

Henbury View First School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and share this commitment across all of our staff, governors, visitors and volunteers. If there is any reason to suspect that a pupil has suffered or is likely to suffer significant harm, staff and visitors must inform the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately.

If you have a safeguarding concern regarding a member of staff or a volunteer at Henbury View First School, please speak to the headteacher in confidence. 

If you have a safeguarding concern regarding the headteacher, please speak to the the safeguarding governor Natasha Graham or Ruth Davies at Hamwic Education Trust alternatively the Local Authority Designated Officer, Lynne Bowman, Martha Sharp or Laura Tuck on 01305 221122.
